Charity Ball Report
I am happy to report that the necklace that I donated for the auction sold for $170.00, relieving my fear that no one would bid on it, or else it would sell for a mere $25.00! In thanks for the donation, I received two tickets to the ball. I got all dressed up, and went to promote my new business. I had to have some fabulous jewelry to advertize, so I made an ensemble to go with my dress. I had ordered some large pink Swarovski crystals, but they did not arrive in time, and I had to substitute something else on hand. I'm happy with the way that it turned out, though. I have yet to write its story, but it does have a name.
Beach Party
I'm also getting ready to add a new line of pendants to my website. These will be geared toward more frugal customers, as they will be priced much lower than my necklaces. A sneak peek:

New Year Additions
Now that Christmas is over, we can post some creations that were purchased by customers as gifts! All of these items have been added to the website. Click on each thumbnail for details.
Poseidon's Bride
This necklace was not only a Christmas gift, but a gift from a groom to his bride to be worn at their wedding.
The ocean's ruler has gathered his most precious jewels to fashion a gift worthy of a goddess. Bridal blue Swarovski stones bezeled in glass beads are the color of the ocean, while bursts of passionate red reflect dazzling underwater light. Delicate sterling silver completes this solemn piece.
Sarah
A tropical shower disturbs the ocean's surface. Glass raindrops create graduating ripples of fire-polished and Swarovski crystals. The methodic motion gives way to gentle waves of glass beads, bringing together March's aquamarine and deep amethsyt. Large bezeled Swarovski stones make up this necklace's pendant, which is dripping with the last of the rain.
Seahorse Harness
This is a special piece that was created as a donation to be auctioned for charity.
A sea nymph tethers her steed with ropes of amber and bronze glass. Around his neck hangs a treasure made of golden Swarovski stones and genuine leopard jasper. Smaller Swarovski crystals, shell, and tiny plum beads add sparkle and detail. The stone clasp is accented with sterling silver.
New! We are now offering earrings for sale. These are not one-of-a-kind items, and you can order as many as you wish, while quanities last.

Sea Star Necklace
This is my latest necklace creation. It will be available on our website.
Sea Star
The deepest waters need a beacon to light the way in the darkness. This glimmering star in the form of a large Swarovski crystal is hand-wrapped with care in sterling silver. It is harnessed by a rope of silver glass beads. Dangles of sterling silver, Swarovski and fire-polished crystals highlight amethyst segments. The sterling silver hook clasp is positioned to allow delicate dangles down the back of the neck. Approximately 16". $175

Earrings Interest?
I've been fiddling around with wire lately, and created these earrings on a whim. I liked them so much, that I plan to keep them. However, I'm wondering if I need to branch out with my designs, and include earrings and bracelets on the website. Would you, my customers, be interested in seeing these products? Something like this would run around $25, I think.

New Commission Piece
I was recently hired to create a special piece for a customer. The piece is entitled "Beth," for the name of the recipient. The nineteen rows of silver beads in the rope of the necklace represents the age of the recipient, who will be celebrating a birthday this month. The necklace has been added to the gallery page on our website.
If interested in any commissions, please email us for a quote.
Beth
Playful loops of sparkling seaweed caress a lost treasure. Pink and silver accents on the ropes are separated by nineteen rows of silver glass beads. Genuine freshwater pearls, large fire-polished crystals, and touches of Swarovski crystals add elegance to this necklace.
